What a great weekend at the SDCBCC (southern districts country border collie club) shows!
DAY 1
EXCELLENT RESULTS to Mark & Colleen with 'Sketch'(MACKIM State of the Art) and to Mark & Gail with 'Quest' (INGENUE Knights Quest)
Sketch = Junior of Breed + JUNIOR IN SHOW
Quest = Intermediate of Breed + OPPOSITE INTERMEDIATE IN SHOW
Congratulations guys, and thanks to everyone for a great day and thankyou to Colleen (MACKIM Border Collies) for the lovely food bin!

Another beautiful winters day! Gail couldn't make it unfortunatley but thats alright because we still had a nice day! I spent the day with Colleen Finch (Borders By Design/ MACKIM Border Collies) and "Sketch" (MACKIM State Of The Art). Got to play with a gorgeous little NAHROF puppy - "Sneak/ Sneaker". Thanks Lauren Somers (NAHROF Border Collies)!
I took "Sketch" into conformation and junior handlers. 2nd out of 3 in conformation and nothing in juniors but thats ok, i still had fun! Congratulations to Josh Rattray (SHINARN Australian Shepherds) with his excellent result in juniors. He came 1st out of 10 with a White Swiss Shepherd who had never been in junior handlers before!! Well done boys!

A very fun day at this show! 4 people in Junior Handlers and I came 2nd which is very good and exciting!!
Practised my running with "Digit"! He is VERY fast. Took "Roxy" into Juniors. :o)

My name is Jemma Bridge. I began showing at the start of 2010 and began handling Border Collies in May. I met Gail at a show in Castle Hill when I took "Casey" into Junior handlers. We did really well in the ring together so Gail entered her at a show in Erskine Park for me to take her in conformation and Juniors! Since then I have been helping Gail with handling her dogs! She has taught me the art of grooming the Border Collies and helped me improve on my handling.
Thankyou Gail for everything you have done.

This was a great weekend! I learnt how to groom Borders for shows and had my practise on "Casey" and thankfully did well :o)
I had lots of fun playing with the girls and "Sketch" over the 3 days and can't wait until the next show!!
